It is not a question where or how you create a course. It might be a simple downloaded GPX track, you can follow with turn by turn instructions.
It is a question wether you enable or disable turn by turn instructions on your device. (At least that‘s the way it works on Edge devices.) And of course you need a device which has/ can handle routable maps.
(However, inserting coursepoints into a route is another story....)
