Can't login to Connect using Chrome

Since about 3 weeks, I'm unable to login to Garmin Connect using Google Chrome because the login window doesn't load.

I've tried:

  • clearing cache and cookies
  • incognito window
  • deleting saved password
  • uninstall and reinstall chrome
  • update chrome to latest version (currently using Version 100.0.4896.127 (Official Build) (64-bit))

but nothing helps, I'm stuck here:

According to the Google Developer tools, there seems to be a few loading errors, but I don't know what's causing them.

What's weird, is that I can login fine using Firefox and Edge.

Does anyone know how I can solve this? Thank you

  • Try comparing the console errors with those in Edge, and look for the differences. Loading errors on Source Maps are normal - they are not available. Errors of the web-translations seem not to harm anything either (I have them too, yet everything works all right in Chrome), so I guess there must be something else. I assume you disabled all plugins, for the testing.

  • Thanks for the reply, disabling the plugins did the job - the one thing I forgot to try!
    For future cases, my issue was because of an open source password manager plugin. I disabled it, then I could login fine.
