Connect web not showing information

Basically as the title states

Connect web not showing information

The web app is failing to show all information

The watch shows it and the Android app shows it yet web doesn't

Yesterday is was steps, stress and HR, a full 5 hours period was missing in the web app.  Yet was full visible on the watch and on the phone...    And even on the defuncted win10 app it all shows fine too...

Today it is HR and Stress. Hours missing on the web app yet the phone and watch show it in all is glory...

These are not the only times as it has now happened on at least 7 other occasion  in the past 2 months...  Just happens to be the first time its hapen twice in 12 hours..

Anyone have any ideas whats actually going on here. Why the heck is the web interface failing to show all data??

regards

Crags

  • So you see some of the data that you see in the app?

The most common reason to why you not see the data in the web is that you use a different account than in the app, but if you see that some of the data is the exact same in the app and web then it is something else that is the issue.

Could you post images of the data from the app and the web? For example the stress or HR graph from both.

The web can sometime malfunction due to javascript errors which are usually solved by reloading the web page without the cache (press ctrl+shift+R), but if you see parts of the graphs with correct values then it is something else.

  • What is the best way to post screen shots?  Also refresh is control+F5  ;-)

  • You can also reload without cache with ctrl+shift+R (and normal reload is ctrl+R). I think it is easiser since it is harder to hit F5 without looking at the keyboard.

Post screenshots by pasting the image into the text area or use the menu insert->image/video/file.
When I'm on Windows I use Snipping tool by pressing Win+Shift+S. Do the snip. The image will automatically be in the clipboard. So just paste into the textarea.

For screenshots from the app it is a bit trickier. It is hard to paste the screenshot into the text area or use the menu to insert the image. I usually take a screenshot then let Google Photos automatically upload it online. Then browse to Google Photos on a computer and download the screenshot and finally add it to the post.

  • Yep the screen shot thing  has NEVER worked...And i do not nor will I use google photos

  • Then use the photo backup service you are currently using to get the screenshot to the computer.

On my Android phone I'ved used the menu and inserted the image, but the image will always be huge and it is really tricky to resize it. So I will start the browser and resize the image on the PC right after I've made the post from the phone. It is faster to push the image to an online service.

  • Connect web not showing information

That sounds like you are not logged into the same account on Garmin Connect Web, as with the app. Sign out from GC Web, and then login back using the same credentials as on the app. If it does not help, follow the instructions shown in the Troubleshooting guide for (some) data missing after syncing.

  • Nope I have ONLY one account.... The information displays perfectly on the W10 pc app(yes there is one)  and in the android app,  Just from time to time it happens.. Twice as stated since yesterday... And I had already done the logout login....   It has NOTHING to do with accounts...

  • Then try clearing the temporary Internet files. And also try accessing the GC Web using an alternative browser.

  • Was Edge, Firefox,Opera and monument enough????  LOL

  • If it is the same in all of them, then you do have a problem with the device/account association. Follow the hint #4 from the troubleshooting guide.
