My first corrupted GPX :( Can anyone help?

Day 1 of a massive hike. Really don't want to lose it! I'm told people here can maybe help fix it? I'd be very grateful. I tried GPSbabel and fitfiletools. No idea what's wrong with it.

I get about 15 km after repairing this - 2022-04-23-11-21-37-fixed.fit

Post it here so we can give it a try.

Zip the file, then in a reply post Insert >> Image/video/file >> click Upload >> browse for file >> OK.
Or upload the fit file to a file sharing service, such as OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc., make the file public, then paste a link to the file in your post.

Much appreciated, thank you Seilogramp! That's about half of it. Is there anything I can do to reduce the likelihood of files getting corrupted in the future?

Some suggestions to help minimize the occurrence of corrupt fit files:

Sync your watch then remove all activity fit files from the device using these directions - Removing Recorded Activities on a Garmin Fitness Device
Regularly check for firmware updates using Garmin Express
Please report back here when you encounter corrupted files again
