7-Day Training Load AGAIN doesn't update at all despite excercise visible and device fully synced just like a month ago!

Since the new version of Garmin Express for Windows 7.12.1.0 the SAME UNACCEPTABLE ERROR OF 1 MONTH AGO IS BACK!

What the H**L are you doing ! Screwing up time & time again with the *** errors!

  • Are you only syncing with Garmin Express or are you using the app?

    It looks like you are only using one device. This could happen with multiple devices and if you are not syncing them every day. The 7-day training load is calculated on the device and then synced to Connect.

    I checked my 7-day training load and it is all good with values for every day. I only sync with the app. Maybe once a month with Garmin Express. I see missing 7-day training load for my Edge but I don't sync it every day so it is expected behaviour. My 945 is synced every day and I see values every day.

  • I use only one device. I sync every single day by switching on my device in the environment of the one WiFi-link I have defined in my device.When I am e.g. on training camp I sync every day via Garmin Express.

    That MUST be sufficient to update the 7-Day Training Load.

    Garmin has rolled out the new FW for my device in several batches spread over a couple of days. For all those days that I was not able to upgrade to the new FW version. I tried via Garmin Express several times per day since the announcement of the new FW version by Garmin!, All those days also the 7-Day Training Load did not update even when connecting my device via Garin Express!

    This trouble occurs every time they do a SW and/or FW update  just as an again totally screwed up Training Status (the distribution between Low aerobic, High Aerobic and Anaerobic Load) during this period when already a new version of Garmin Express was launched and teh new device FW was not made available. The last issue of the bogus Training Status was this time already reported by someone else on this forum,  around a few weeks ago so it's clear I am not the only one who notices these unacceptable issues which pop up time & time again

    I dare to conclude that the SW and FW quality and maintenance is so extremely poor that if you want to do proper training analysis, you have to take a subscription to Training Peaks.

    Garmin should remove the grey box at the bottom right of the Garmin Connect web pages where they suggest they would be accurate

  • I am experiencing this exact same problem.  FR935 running v21.00.  Had a good run this morning, and training status is not updated to show it at all.  Also, oddly, my full-day heart rate view is missing any HR data for the time covering the run activity.

    I deleted the activity and re-uploaded it manually via the .FIT file, but nothing changed.

    This is really, really annoying since it's sure to impact calculations of other metrics which I derive value from.

  • Same problem over here from time to time. Now I've updated the FW of my watch. Fingers crossed all data/reports are adjusted retroactively....

  • Thanks for reporting. Here it is indeed also the same sh*t again! Both in the mobile app as well as in the web app and after connecting via Garmin Express. NOTHING is updated. The training status stopped on yesterday, when I did my last exercise.
