Identifying and Saving a location

Is there a way to identify and save a location where I am at the moment? If I am on a trail with no discernable landmarks, address or intersection, is there a command that brings up the grid coordinates? If so, can I save them or mark them as a waypoint?

The Lap button can be used to save locations for later, while using it for that, turn off the Auto-Lap option.

Then you can export/copy route as FIT, convert to GPX if needed (do not export as GPX, as for now it doesn't export laps, you need to manually convert FIT to get them). And load to some mapping software, laps will be marked as waypoints.

To show position on other watches, you can download some GPS Data Fields from the store.

Thank you for your reply. I finally discovered that I can simply click on the motorcycle icon on my Zumo XT and up pops the location. Sometimes the vendors of tech seem to think that certain instructions are too simple to express. Not for me. Thanks again.

I Googled my question regarding the Zumo XT and got lots of answers, and finally found one that worked - clicking on the motorcycle icon. Glad to have found it. It's really a crucial capability.
