Corrupted .FIT file, tried to recover but was not successful

Hi there, my frist ride of the season and I have a corrupted .FIT file.
I have tried to recover it a few times, but my only mildly successful attempt deleted about half of the the ride.

Some suggestions to help minimize the occurrence of corrupt fit files:

Sync your watch then remove all activity fit files from the device using these directions - Removing Recorded Activities on a Garmin Fitness Device
Regularly check for firmware updates using Garmin Express
Please report back here when you encounter corrupted files again

Hi Seilogramp,

I just went for another ride and it appears corrupted as well.
After the last corrupted ride I did a factory/ 'Master' reset on the device to try and fix anything that might have caused it.
The firmware is up to date.

I think at this point I am going to contact Garmin support and see if they will cover this device.

I hate to bother you again, but could you see if this file is recoverable as well?

There is a large gap from 4:37:34 to 6:26:30 where no data was recorded

Hence the straight line in the repaired file between those 2 timestamps.

.C4CH0104-fixed.fit.

The master reset should help.

the master reset did not help unfortunately, I did it on Saturday after my last corrupt file. thank you for reparing it
