Read through many of these  question and convoluted fixes for transferring data either between accounts or between  3rd party apps - it appears like Garmin have missed the digitalisation revolution and are stuck in a time warp from 15 years ago - the amount of fiddling about and irritation one sees on these fora is staggering. This is pretty simple data at the end of the day.

    Forums just by their nature will attract people that are having issues. Rarely anyone posts saying "everything is great. Thanks Garmin!" However, I don't disagree with the general intent of your post. Are you having a specific issue?

    I've recently set up serveral Garmin devices with new phones and accounts and connectionst to 3rd party services and I'm surprised that I never run into any issues since many users report that they got issues. I should at least have some issue...but no issues at all.

    I think that many users try to come up with their own solutions instead of just following the instructions that are presented on the screen.
