Corrupt FIT file

Hi,

Can anyone help - my garmin edge 500 seems to started losing files after a ride (or I am doing something wrong )

I did a 2 hr ride yesterday but the ride doesn't show up. I have recovered a file from the garmin using TestDisk but Strava says ..

The upload appears to be malformed and we are unable to process it.

I have tried one site but it doesn't seem to work and the alternate wants MS Access

Can anyone offer any suggestions ?

Zip then post your fit file here so we can take a look.

Zip the file, then in a reply post Insert >> Image/video/file >> click Upload >> browse for file >> OK.
Or upload the fit file to a file sharing service, such as OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc., make the file public, then paste a link to the file in your post.

Many thanks for the suggestion. I have zipped the activities folder with single fit file in.

Thank you every so much. That worked just fine.

I've no idea what is going on with my garmin - its recording rides ok, but then out of 4 last rides I have had issues with two. I wonder if I should format and try to start clean with it. For the next few rides I will use my phone in tandem as a backup device.
