HR data saved for activity but not showing in Health Stats on Connect web and iOS

I have noticed some missing data on Connect web and iOS started this week. I have used this same gear for several months previously with no issues.

1. Recorded activity from Edge 530 with HRM-Pro shows HR correctly when viewing the activity. But when viewing the "Health Stats" page on connect web and in iOS it shows a gap for HR during the time the activity was recorded. It looks like physio true-up is not working, but it has always worked previously! This has worked previously on HRM-Pro 7.4, and worked at least once with version 8.1 but for this activity it has not worked. I also notice that intensity minutes has not been added to the connect screen. Is there a problem with 8.1 on the HRM-Pro or is it some other glitch?

Example 1: Edge 530, HRM-Pro:

2. I also noticed a recent activity on a Fenix 6X where the watch and uploaded activity shows the HR but the Connect health stats page shows a gap for most of the day. Perhaps a problem with Connect?

Wore the Fenix 6X for the whole day and it recorded wrist based HR the whole time (i.e. I could see HR display on the watch during the day), the uploaded activity shows HR, but did not sync to Health Stats on Connect. Physio true-up is on for all devices and this has always worked fine every other time previously.

Example 2: Fenix 6X, wrist-based HR:

Have tried re-sync etc many times. No difference.

Anyone ideas how to fix? I was going to downgrade the HRM-Pro to 7.4 but then I realised the issue was happening with fenix as well. Common point is the Connect webex/iOS app.

  • UPDATE:

Also notice that for the Monday walk activity, Fenix displays intensity minutes and graph correctly, Connect web displays graph, but Connect iOS displays incorrectly. Last picture shows how it was working previously! Nowhere does it show the intensity minutes from Wednesday activity recorded on Edge 530+HRM-Pro. (I do not believe Edge can display intensity minutes directly on the device)

  • Is there a problem with 8.1 on the HRM-Pro or is it some other glitch?

My HRM Pro works correctly even after the upgrade to v8.1. A more probable reason is a possible problem with the association of the device(s) to multiple accounts, which is a very frequent problem, and often it is not well explicable how it happens. It happened to me in the past already too, although I am sure I did not create any secondary account. Have a look at the thread Troubleshooting guide for (some) data missing after syncing, perhaps it helps.

  • Very sure I have only one connect account. Both Fenix and Edge+HRM-pro seem to be working as normal now, with no changes made. I am going to put it down to a glitch in garmin connect earlier last week rather than the devices for now...

Yes, that the common reaction of every single person suffering that issue. Was the same case with me, too. I'd give it a try in your place.
