RE: Troubleshooting guide for (some) data missing after syncing

I connected the 735xt to my laptop and already did all your suggestion. Then the system upgraded only today, but the last 6 days are lost. Plus automatic upgrade of the watch started and now the only language available is English, instead of having Italian, like I am. This is ridiculous, is getting worse after doing all your suggestion. Upgrading manually is not possible, the folder activity is empty. Freaking ridiculous. Now how can I get my old data. The watch shows me the steps history but doesn’t upgrade the GC on the phone and neither with the laptop. I want my data back. Yesterday was everything fine.

    If I understand well and yesterday, all the data was in your Garmin Connect account, and today it is not, then it looks like you are not logged into the same account. Did you try looking at the data both with the GC Mobile app, and with the GC Web version too?

    As for the Italian language, if Italian is missing in the settings of your watch, you can add it Garmin Express - open your device, and go to Tools & Content » Utilities » Optional Updates » Language Files

    Yes, that's exactly what everyone with a duplicate account always claims. If you are unwilling to accept the advices, I cannot help you further. Try contacting the Support, and the next time choose a kinder tone, when speaking to people trying to help you.

    Again, reread my previous message - it includes instructions how to install any missing language.

  • Again. I followed all your instruction and the problem became worse. I don’t have a second account. I know the difference between “Sign In” and “Sign Up”. I already done all your instructions and now I discovered that also the move sensor isn’t working anymore. There is a log error with 2 errors into the watch. How I can be kind if the only help I’m getting is worsening my situation? Connecting the watch to the laptop and synchronizing the watch, killed it. Lost data, lost language and lost function. You still believe is a “second account” problem?

    So you are telling you installed the Italian language through Garmin Express, synced it to your watch, but still cannot set Italian in the system settings of the watch? If indeed so, then contact the support in your country, they will assist you in your language. Perhaps it helps. http://support.garmin.com 

    Being arrogant to fellow forum users trying to help you (we are not Garmin employees!), will bring you nowhere.
