Trouble Connecting to Garmin Connect Web

I’m running a MacBook with Safari.

A week or so ago I started having issues with Garmin Connect in the web browser. I could log in without issue, but some of the tiles on my home page would not load until after I went “Full Page” with another tile, then came back to the home page.

Today, I can login, but get booted out within 20 seconds.

I get the same thing when I try to use Chrome.

I checked the Garmin Connect Status Dashboard and it’s all green.

Any got any ideas? I’ve been using the web portal for a few years and never had this issue before.

  • Impossible to connect when on my PC (Firefox). But logging in with my phone still on Firefox works... Garmin, we need this fixed, please.

  • Hi, I am from Switzerland and have the same problem. When I use the Garmin Conncet button on Garmin Express on macOS Big Sur 11.6.5, it opens Safari Version 15.4 (16613.1.17.1.11, 16613) and tells me success, but the screen is blank until I press refresh.

    but all I get is a blank screen. This behaviour stays until I press the refreh and then it works.

    Do I need to have a new setting for Garmin Connect or what is the solution? 

  • I'm seing the same issue on Windows 10 with Chrome and on Android with Chrome and Kiwi Browser...so it is likely a bigger issue that affects most systems.

  • Exactly the same problem with Windows and Edge Chromium, and no answear from Garmin..

  • All of Garmin Connect's services have been glitchy for me today - Garmin Express app on macOS, connect.garmin.com on Firefox & both the Connect & Connect IQ iOS apps. 

    Initially, the status page at https://connect.garmin.com/status/ stated that everything was up as normal, but then "Garmin Connect" showed up in red and "offline".

    Seems to have mostly resolved for now, though data keeps vanishing from specific tiles in the phone app and on the web page then reappearing. 

    I'd guess they're doing some maintenance on the backend.

  • Garmin creates devices. Garmin creates forum for people to speak about the devices. Garmin kinda sorta monitors said forums. Garmin addresses issues on the forum when it is “convenient” for them.

    Garmin knows about the issue. They have failed to address it here. They maybe working on the fix, maybe not. But the updates to their various devices and portals are getting very frustrating. Things work well, then an update, and things no longer work as intended. Fix one problem and create another that was not an issue before the update.

    But sure. A phone call will clear it right up. Funny how they don’t post their number on the forum where people try to work out the issues with their device and software.
