4 hour Activity seems to be lost

I recorded an activity today on my Garmin fenix 6x Pro Solar. All was good till the end, as I paused and saved the activity on the watch. Then I tried to sync with My phone and it does not sync. I tried connecting to PC but I could only see a very small Fit file which seems to be just the first 8 minutes. This was my longest snowshoeing to a very nice peak and it seems to be lost. Is there any way to recover it or I just have to say goodby to it?

Try a manual upload to Garmin Connect - How Do I Manually Upload an Activity I Recorded to Garmin Connect?

If you get any message other than Import Complete, then there is a problem with the file being corrupt. Attach it to this thread. We can look to see if it is repairable.

Zip the file, then in a reply post Insert >> Image/video/file >> click Upload >> browse for file >> OK.
Or upload the fit file to a file sharing service, such as OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc., make the file public, then paste a link to the file in your post.

I have not deleted the activity. When I try to manuallyp upload the fit file I get the following error: "One of your files was not accepted by the system. Please contact Support for assistance."2022-03-02-10-40-16.zip

I just noticed that the modification datetime is on the same day at 14:56 which matches the supposed activity length of 4 hours. So somehow during saving something has gone wrong.
