Jeff Galloway half marathon plan

Is it possible to view the whole training plan rather than just the week ahead? I'm on week 8 of the Jeff Galloway half marathon plan but would like to see what is coming up later on.

  • Because these workouts will adjust to get harder or easier based on your performance in the plan, the workouts are only generated a week out.  You will notice that once you complete a workout, the next week's workout (for that day) will then appear on your calendar.

  • Hi Kevin. If for some reason I cannot run a single long run on one particular weekend, can I reschedule that same long run to the following weekend? Or should I rather just skip that run and let the workout automatically adjust? I've found that having missed a long run one weekend, the following weekend wasn't the same run but rather a magic half mile, so I was rather disappointed for having missed the long run. Thanks for any feedback. Alain

    No, you can't postpone a long run for a week, because there are other workouts scheduled in between. A workout can be postponed for a day or two, but not after the next scheduled workout.

    I noticed that Galloway's training plan has a two-week rhythm to the workouts. So if you missed a long run, a similar run is usually scheduled two weeks later.
