Incorrect chart in Reports

Incorrect chart for Yoga - Total Activity Time. It shows average activities time per month instead of total activity time per month:

  • Better picture showing the overlay data:

  • Seems that it over almost two years, no one from Garmin could look into this obvious bug. So disappointing...

  • Frankly told, showing the daily average at the yearly report makes much more sense than showing the monthly totals, because the months length vary from month to month. So basing the graph on the daily average, normalizes the output. The total is then shown on the mouse-over popup. I'd tell it is intentional.

  • @trux sorry, not funny.

    1. The chart title says "Total Activity Time", it nowhere says "daily average",

    2. No other chart in Garmin Connect show daily average (running / cycling / swimming) for a reason. Simply because I will gain more value from 10 session of 20 minutes rather then 1 session of 25 minutes.

  • I recommend reporting it to the Support then. It is not certain anyone from Garmin has seen your posts here on the forum.

  • disagree on that, since this is an official Garmin forum, not some random reddit chat. It is just Garmin does not care at all about it's own users.

  • That was a friendly advice. You are free to disagree, but if you want to speak to Garmin, the forum is really not the best place. It is predominantly a user forum for peer-to-peer help and discussions. Although it occasionally can happen that a Garmin employee intervenes here, it is rather rare and cannot be relied on. For reporting issues with their software and hardware, Garmin has their official Support website at https://support.garmin.com

  • Thank you for your "friendly advice." It's delightful to learn that someone is so well-acquainted with how Garmin operates. Having used Garmin products for more than a decade, I'm fairly familiar with the avenues for support and feedback, but I appreciate the reminder.

Interestingly enough, the forum we're currently on is actually an official Garmin platform. While it's true that it's designed for peer-to-peer discussions, let's not overlook the fact that it's also a valuable channel for company feedback. The rare but noteworthy intervention of Garmin employees here underscores its official capacity, don't you think?

Your guidance on Garmin's official support website is a delightful addition to this discussion, especially for those just starting their Garmin journey. But let's be clear: between the consistently unproductive experiences I've had with Garmin's official support and the occasional but rare nuggets of wisdom on this official forum, I'm still searching for a truly effective avenue to address issues. Both have proven less than useful, which is enlightening in its own way, don't you agree?
