Organizing "courses" by sport

For the love of god, can Garmin allow the organization of my saved courses, at a minimum as Bike and Run. Every time I look for a course I need to sequence through the entire list. Also, if its categorized as such, while searching for courses in a run activity, it can only show me my run courses, ie when using a multisport watch. Lets go Garmin.

  • Completely agree! I had a similar request and Garmin responded that ideas should be submitted through the link below. The more people do this, the higher the chances that it will be finally implemented. Fingers crossed.

"In order to push this request to the engineers, you will actually need to submit the idea through this link: https://www.garmin.com/en-US/forms/ideas/. If you can, also sending the link to the forum helps boost the popularity of certain ideas, so this would be great to get as many people submitting the ideas as possible."

You are lucky. It is indeed possible, and as far as I remember it always was:

  • You can create courses for specific activities using the phone app or garmin website.

However, on your watch it will always show you all courses and not only the ones specific to the activity you want to start. This disconnect is annoying - Garmin already has the information that certain courses are meant for certain activities. Avikoren1 pointed out the problem correctly.

  • The question in the OP is about Garmin Connect Web (we are on the forum of GC Web), and the filtering by activity type is possible in GC Web. If the filtering by activity does not work on your watch, you better post about it on the subforum dedicated to the model you own - there it is relevant, and there is a small chance that someone from Garmin, spots it  Better yet, contact the Support with the demand, or suggest it through the form at Share Ideas | Garmin
