Malformed Activity

Data prior to and after the attached file have all synced properly, and uploaded to GC and Strava without issue. Is there any chance this data will repair itself and upload at some point? Or is it damaged for some reason? I do not know what has caused this but I am hopeful I can salvage the file. On my watch, I can see all the pace, distance, and mile/lap data - so it must be there?

Can anyone help? Thank you!

Some suggestions to help minimize the occurrence of corrupt fit files on a Forerunner 25

Sync your watch then do a full master reset of your FR25 using these directions - Restoring All Default Settings
Add a weekly cleanup procedure of the ACTIVITY folder to your agenda using these directions - Removing Recorded Activities to Free Up Space
Please report back here when you encounter corrupted files again

Thank you so much for this, and for your advice regarding the master reset and a cleanup of my activity folder - I am on it. This activity was a big undertaking for me, and a 30 minute improvement on my last attempt, so the data is so greatly appreciated. THANK YOU!

Some fit files can be fixed by FIT File Tools, using the section remover without any adjustments. The result can then be uploaded to Garmin Connect Web using the Import Data page. Then change the activity type from "Other" to whatever the activity should be.

If after this, it is still not working, the fit file might require more extensive repair. Attach it to this thread. We can look to see if it is repairable.

Zip the file, then in a reply post Insert >> Image/video/file >> click Upload >> browse for file >> OK.
Or upload the fit file to a file sharing service, such as OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc., make the file public, then paste a link to the file in your post.

ok thanks done that seems to have the data now, how do i get it uploaded into zwift so it logs my meters climbed?
