calendar widget missing calendar entries

The widget on my Venu only shows some of the events that are on my phone's calendar.  For instance, today I had 5 events on my phone's calendar (google). The first and third appeared on my watch, events 2, 3, and 5 do not and have never appeared on my watch. I understand that the watch can only show a limited number of events, but why not events 1,2,3 .. not skipping things at 9 Am, and noon for something at 7 pm.   All of these are on the same google calendar and have all been on the calendar for at least a week, so it is not like I just added them and they have not synced yet. I would guess that the watch and my phone are connected properly, and obviously, I have granted the propper privileges to my calendar I have tried, syncing the watch from my phone, turning on and off my watch, turning on and off the watch to phone connection, removing the calendar widget, turning off the phone, then turning the phone back on. Nothing seems to get the watch to show all of the events on a given day. I am really confused and frustrated.

    Are all events in the same calendar? 

    Are you using Google Calendar or a local calendar on your phone? You can check online if you see all events: https://calendar.google.com/ 

    You can have multiple calendars and add external calendars by subscribing to iCal calendars.

    All events are on the same calendar.  I can see all of the events on https://calendar.google.com/  on my phone, on the standard google/android app on my phone, and on a computer (just not on my watch).  I really appreciate having the calendar online so that I can see events across multiple platforms and when I add an event to the calendar it updates across all of the devices.  I wish my watch would be one of those devices.

    I use the same setup. I've never experienced missing events in the calendar widget.

    I checked now and what I noticed is that events that have passed are not displayed in the widget. All day events, current events and upcoming events are visible.

    The number of events should not be an issue. I'm currently seeing 6 full day events, 1 current and 9 upcoming events for the day in the widget.

    Thank you so much for your responses and your suggestions. I really do not understand why I am only getting some on my watch. It really seems random which events appear on the watch and which don't -- the next event on my calendar doesn't show up, but the one 2 hours after that does, the event after that does not.  The first event tomorrow does, second does not.  That said, I have the venue to add functionality my life, be a fitness tracker, I don't need it to reflect my calendar (I have a phone to do that.)
