Import ski GPX activities int Garmin Connect Web to display correctly as Resort Ski activity

Hi,

When trying to import ski GPX activities from the past (tracked with Ski Tracks), and then categorize it as Resort Ski/Snowboard activity, it still displays data of the ascent (including distance and time), while the Resort Ski/Snowboarding activities recorded with the Fenix 6 pro will mark ascents as "pause".

I have tried manually trimming the ascent sections from the gpx files and upload them this way to Garmin Connect, but the ascents are still considered as part of the activity (distance and time).

Anyone have an idea of how I can rectify this?

    I have the same problem, maybe because Garmin import it as activity type unknown instead of  Resort Ski/Snowboarding.
    I have inserted this in the GPX file, but Garmin seems to ignore it.
    <trk>
    <name>Skiing - day 1</name>
    <type>resort_skiing_snowboarding_ws</type>

    Do anyone know how to import a GPX file with the correct activity type for skiing?
