Garmin coach problem: no workout plan information at least 1 week in advance

Hello! I’ve decided to try garmin running training plan. I had a benchmark run scheduled for today. So I followed the instructions (2min warm up, 5 min run strong, 2 min cool down) and my run is saved in my app now. However, as there are no changes to my workout plan after this benchmark run, I’m wondering if I should’ve saved it somehow differentlyThinkingperhaps not as a regular press “run” button… there were no guidelines regarding how to save it… 

In addition to that, I’d like to mention that the fact that I cannot see my workout plan for the current week is really inconvenient as my work schedule is 2 days in a row long hours/then 2 days off and I need to plan my runs in advance. If I see my tomorrow’s workout plan only tomorrow morning… that is a problem

  • Did you actually choose to do the benchmark run workout, not just start a regular run and perform the described phases? (You can start the suggested workout either by choosing it as a workout before you start the run, or by starting it from the Garmin coach watch widget.)

    After you do the actual benchmark run and thus start the program, you should see your workouts for the next week.
