badge not received

I have recorded multiple strength activities and past Halloween also recoded an activity but never received the badge for Halloween or for recording multiple strength activities. Is there a reason why? Most are entered manually through the app since the devices doesn't have an option for that type of activities. Would that have something to do with not receiving the badge? Thanks in advance.

    Yes, those don't count. You need to record it on a watch, but you can just record as Other and change to Strength later on the Web.

    You can also edit a date, so if you would really want badges for those previous activities, you can try to record short activities and replace those manually created.

  • How about older activities recorded before the badge was there, do they count?

  • Activities saved before they added some badge, won't have that badge. Probably also won't count for badges requiring a number of activities to complete, but I haven't tested that.

    Editing an activity makes it recheck badges, so for some badges it's possible to acquire them for activities done before adding those badges. For example: the marathon badge was added 3 April 2018, so it wasn't awarded before, but you can rename older marathons to receive it.
