Map Gradient Overlay Convert to degrees

What do the colors blue, green, yellow, red correspond to on the gradient color overlay.

I want to know that

  • blue is less than 4% (guessing),
  • green is 5% to 8% (guess)
  • yellow is 9% to 12% (guess)
  • red is 13%

Are the colors relative to the ride baseline?

If so, how can I calculate the gradient value per color for my route?
