Golf shot latitude and longitude coordinate system

If you tell us - at least approximately - where that point is (for example a link to google maps location, or some more readable coordinates), then perhaps someone could figure it out.

Rock Barn Golf Club in Conover, NC.  35°44'28.7"N 81°10'34.5"W

I don't know if this is some standard way of presenting coordinates, but I made the following observation:

If you put a decimal dot after the first two digits of the exported coordinates and treat the number as decimal degress, and then multiply them by 0.838, then the resulting coordinates land very close to 35 44 28N 81 10 34W. So the conclusion would be that the exported coordinates are in decimal degrees multiplied by some factor.

This might be just a coincidence, so I'm not sure if it makes any sense.

Thanks!  Seems kinda weird, but maybe there is a logical reason.  I'm not a GIS expert.  I will try that in my spreadsheet and see what the results look like.

Ok, that explanation makes sense. One thing needs addressing, though: The formula does not give you degrees minutes seconds. It only gives decimal degrees. So in the above example 609843842 put into the formula results in 51.116520334 degrees. So if you need degrees minutes seconds you need to do additional math on the number provided by the formula. 51.116520334 degress is 51 degrees 6 minutes and 59.5 (roughly) seconds.
