Each segment has a counter to check how many users completed it.
It was a nice feature to find good / popular segments, but this year those counters got reset.
For example - one popular segment currently displays:
118 people crossed this segment 128 times since it was created on 6 Jan, 2019. Edited on 3 Nov, 2021.
This is false information. I alone completed it 122 times. Everybody completed it a lot more since it was created.
And it was also not edited - as editing was disabled a long time ago.
This description should be either:
- removed completely, as it's highly misleading - if a segment would be completed only 128 times since 2019 and almost everybody didn't run on it again, then this would mean that it's really unpopular and bad segment and probably should be avoided.
- or reworded to: 118 people crossed this segment 128 times since the last counter reset on 3 Nov, 2021.
- or counters should be changed back to true number.
A good thing is, that Leaderboard still contains all (probably) personal runs on segments, and only overall counters got reset - I randomly checked segments also in other country and it's the same, so most likely this was a global reset.
