importing FIT file from Movescount

I have over a thousand "Moves" (recorded activities) from Movescount which I downloaded to FIT files. I just started looking at importing them to Connect.

It works, mostly. The basics are there: overall duration, calories, GPS track.

Some of the data is not getting in to Garmin Connect. What I've noticed so far is:

1) my notes, whatever I wrote about the activity.

2) lap data.

I don't know if the problem is Connect isn't getting this data from the FIT file, or Movescount didn't put this data in the FIT file.

Any hints or guidance on fixing this issue?

No-one out there has figured this out recently?

I see some of the years old posts, but the problems and solutions do not look applicable to my current issues, and no doubt things have changed over the years.

Could you post a sample of a file you're trying to import? We might be able to see what is going on and offer some assistance. Some 3rd-party tools, such as FIT File Repair Tool might be able to do what you're requesting using FIT files or SML files or some combination from this list.

In Movescount you can download everything as FIT files. I haven't found any way to download all Moves all at once in any other format (there are things you can do one at a time, but I have 1100+ Moves).

Example. I can get the route into Connect, but not the notes I added. Some other information like proper lap logging don't appear in Connect either.

Have you tried contacting Suunto to see if it's possible to do a bulk export?
