Why am I getting Chinese maps on Garmin Connect

Question

Why am I getting Chinese maps on Garmin Connect from baidu.com??? It's been going on for several months now and would like to stop the Chinese characters appearing. 
 Any suggestions welcome.

What is the URL link you're using? 
 It should be https://connect.garmin .com /modern/ 
 https://connect.garmin . cn /modern is the link for mainland China and will use Baidu maps.
