Time spent in HR zones not showing in Garmin Connect however HR data for the activity does

I have just started to have this issue in the last two days with data recorded on Edge 530. HR data shows up in Garmin Connect but not the time spent in HR zones. I have not made any changes to settings, etc. in the last couple of days that could explain this. The same issue is also showing on Garmin Connect Android app. All other data is displaying correctly.

Looking at the (now empty) Time in Zones graphs in Garmin Connect, all the HR set zones are incorrect (see attached), even though they have been correctly set up and showing as such in Garmin Connect. I have had no issues with this since I first got the Edge a year or so back.

  

Can anyone suggest a possible fix for this.

  • I helped another user with this issue and the solution was to update the zones and make it sync to the device again. After that the following activities got the correct zones.

    I've updated the HR zones on Garmin Connect and have then synced them through to the Edge, so hopefully moving forward all will be good again.

    Since one of the two messed up fit files was my first century ride for a very long time, I'll also upload the fit file so 4567890 might be kind enough to fix that file.

  • Thanks for your quick reply. As suggested by yourself and e7andy I've resynced my HR zones from Garmin Edge to my Edge 530, so hopefully moving forward they will be correct again.

    If you could recalculate the HR zones for one of my two corrupted fit files I would appreciate that very much - this ride was my first 100km ride for a long time, so it would be nice to have it there for further encouragement moving forward Slight smile Hopefully I've uploaded the fit file correctly as a zip file.

  • Thanks so much for the fix of this file. 

    The HR zones are all showing up now.

    Also HR zones are also now showing correctly on new rides now that I have resynced the HR zones from Garmin Connect to the Edge.
