Accidently discarded bike ride when I put it on pause

I put my bike ride on pause and accidentally discarded it. I plugged my watch in and the FIT file is not showing up in Activity. Do I have any hope?

Yes, you have a small chance. Power off the device until you're ready to try this. See thread and answer -
