Personal record - manually set PR has incorrect time

Hi,

I have manually set (in web app Garmin Connect) my 100 km bike ride as my PR for 40 km. Although it is displayed in PR section, the PR time is incorrect because whole activity time is set as PR and not the fastest 40 km segment. Am I doing something wrong or this is bug on your side?

Btw. great watch and app - keep going!

If you set a PR manually it will use the full time for the activity. You can change the time manually in the PR page.

Unfortunately I don't know what the PR time is. Are there any tools to calculate e.g. best 40 km basing on 100 km gpx track?

I now found this open source project: https://github.com/bagage/rust-gpx

It took some time to make it build.
Clone the repo. Install Rust (https://www.rust-lang.org/tools/install). Build project. Then finally run the command to get the best time.

gpxanalyzer analyze --file input.gpx --distance 40000

I ran some tests and it found pretty much the same times as my personal records.
