Cannot Upload Ride from Garmin 530 to Garmin Connect

Went for a long ride tis morning and the file will not upload to garmin connect. I tried WIFI, BT, and wired to the computer. I also tried to repair the FIT. file using a repair but it did not work. Anyone have suggestions on how to repair this file or is it finally time to switch to WAHOO?

Try running it through FIT File Tools. Use the section remover without any adjustments. If that doesn't work or you don't get the expected results, then zip and insert your fit file into your post. We'll see what can be done to repair it.

Zip the file, then in a reply post Insert >> Image/video/file >> click Upload >> browse for file >> OK.
Or upload the fit file to a file sharing service, such as OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc., make the file public, then paste a link to the file in your post.

I used the tool and it sort of worked but it only shows about 3 miles of a 127 mile ride. Does that mean the file cant be salvaged?

No. It's just the easiest fix in some cases. Post the fit file here. We'll do our best to repair it.
