Selecting shoes

Good morning

I am a new Garmin Forerunner 245 owner and would like to use the facility to track my shoes. I have managed to add the two pairs currently in use to my gear list from the home screen, however, when I edit an activity and wish to select them they do not appear. The only shoes that do appear are a pair which I have retired. Please help

Look at the date of first use for those shoes. You won't be able to add shoes to an activity if the date of the activity predates the date of first use.
