The scripts I posted are for web-browsers, so authentication is not needed as web-browsers do it, you just need to be logged-in before starting a script. For manual authentication, if you want to make it stand-alone, you can check how it's done in some python script - for example there is one in this thread: export bulk data to TCX or GPX files.
