GPX import

I am attempting to import a gpx file. I get it to come over but there are little changes on the Garmin compared to how it appears from source. It seems Garmin is trying to send it to popularity routing... Has anyone experienced this.

I’m so sorry it is my fault, the file is a draft as the organisers have yet to add the full route gpx. Hence the slight differences.
so sorry to have wasted your time!

What is the source of the gpx file? Assume you're importing it as a course. Can you attach it here so we can take a look?

Zip the file, then in a reply post Insert >> Image/video/file >> click Upload >> browse for file >> OK.
Or upload the file to a file sharing service, such as OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc., make the file public, then paste a link to the file in your post.

What is it supposed to look like? Garmin connect does default to Popularity Routing, but that only applies if you are going to make any changes. If you save it as is, it should be identical to the source.

I also see 3 others that appear to be the identical course - Montane Dragon's Back Race, which looks horrendous, by the way.

. I assume with the exact same length and course all of these are coming from the same source GPX file.
