Heartrate data from watch missing from activity on Edge 530

I broadcast my HR from Vivoactive HR to my Edge 530 during activity. As shown in the screencaps below, sometimes the activity doesn't capture the HR data from the watch. This has happened twice now.

The watch is tracking heartrate, so the sensor isn't malfunctioning.
The watch recognizes an activity is in progress.
The watch is broadcasting as shown at the beginning of the activity.

Any way to fix this data sync?

It looks like it stops after 5 minutes. Could you check the time? If it is 5 minutes it feels like a timeout.

How do you do when you broadcast HR? Do you use "Broadcast In Activity" or "Broadcast"? You should use "Broadcast" for it to work...unless you also start an activity on the Vivoactive and press Start.

I 'broadcast'. I've been using the edge for months now, and this has only happened twice.

Ok. With only two occurances of many it is a lot harder to find the solution or answer to why it happens. Impossible to reproduce in a controlled environment.

Did it occur after 5 minutes the other time as well? Any similarities?

Don't you get a notification on the Edge when it lose the HR? It would be interesting to see if the broadcast is still on at that point.

Broadcast is still on at the end of the ride.

Similar phenomena on the other activity where the activity tracked HR for the first little bit, but dropped off for the rest of the ride.

No notification on the edge about losing connection. It usually beeps when I lose the phone or speed sensor.
