Heart rate does not synchronise correctly between Venu SQ and Garmin Connect app.

After a bike ride today my Venu SQ shows a max heart rate of 162, after synchronising with Garmin Connect the max heart rate shows as 152. My expectation would be this is a straight forward data transfer and Connect should reflect what my watch recorded i.e. 162.

Which max heart rate are you referring to?

The heart rate in the heart rate card will not be the same as in an activity since the measurement is different. In the activity you will see the absolute max and in the card you will see the max over a certain time. I don't know the exact time but something like the average value over 3 or 5 seconds.

That will likely be the answer then, my Venu SQ is showing absolute max whereas the Connect app is showing the max over a certain time period. Thanks for your help.
