Malformed restored .fit file

Hello everybody! Yesterday I accidentally deleted a bike ride I had just completed (trying to clean my Edge screen at the wrong time). I was able to recover the .fit file from the device but as I try to upload it to Strava I get the "malformed" message. I tried to restore the file in different ways but I was not able to: I'm on a Mac, so I can't use the Fit Repair Tool App. Is there someone kind enough to have a look a the .fit file and try to fix it, maybe?

Using Fit File Repair Tool I can see that things went crazy just before 1 km

This will upload to Garmin and Strava, but it's only 1 km 2021-07-03-11-31-33-fixed.fit

If you have any other fit files around that same time in the \GARMIN\ACTIVTITY folder, there is a slim chance these are also partial files which could be pieced together to make a whole activity.

Thank you! At least I have almost half of the ride, I wonder if it's possible to get some more data from the other two .fit files

I performed another device scan following your instructions and I recovered these two .fit files from that activity: they seem quite similar to the ones I found yesterday, but maybe their data are a little less corrupt. Is there a chance to give them one last try, maybe?

oh well, I guess I'll need to be more careful next time! I'm happy I managed to recover at least half of the ride...
