Lost some data fields in fit file following a fit file corruption

Hi, I have a Garmin 645 Music and MRM-Run Heart Rate Monitor.  One fit file got corrupted (I think the one time the batteries went flat when I was running). My problem is that ever since then data for Avg Vertical Ratio, GCT Balance, Ground Contact Time and Vertical Oscillation is not being downloaded. Using Fit File viewer I found that the number of fields for records in fit files before and after the single file corruption event are different. Fewer fields are being recorded post corruption under Record in fit files than before. In Record I  continue to see data for timestamp, position_lat, postion_long, distance, altitude, speed, heart_rate, cadence, temperature and fractional_cadence  but post corruption event I no see fields for vertical_oscilation, stance_time_percent, stance_time, vertical_ratio(percent), step_length and activity_type.  I am however getting average stride length showing after data downloaded in Garmin connect but since corruption no data of Avg Vert Ratio, GCT Balance. GCT and Vert Oscillation is being imported. Is there anything I can do to get the fit file structure back to what it was before it changed post fit file corruption?   I tried to send the fit file immediately before corruption, the first fit file post-corruption and my most recent file.  App won't let me upload the corrupted file which appears to be empty. It also didn't seem to allow me to send the three fit files. I tried again converting the three files to links but app didn't allow this either so have not included the files. Any advice on what I should try to do?  Many thanks   Richard
