Usability improvement: 'Back'-button for browsing history

I believe the folks @Garmin are reading this forum. Therefore I have a usability improvement idea.

1. When I go my training history on GC Web, there should be a calendar view to go to specific date in history. Now it takes ages to go to a specific date in history.

2. My main issue: When I view details of my past exercise and would like to return to the same calendar view where opened that exercise, I end up returning to present date by pressing the BACK button on my browser. Instead it should be logical: by pressing BACK button, I return to previous page view.

It's a nightmare now. If I want to look at specific exercises, for example, in July 2018. First I need to go to that specific month. After opening one specific exercise and pressing BACK button I end in July 2021 and need to go back to July 2018 again.

Thanks for reading. I'd appreciate any shortcuts people might have discovered to overcome this problem.

  • You mean activities' list? Then yes, it returns to the top after using back, but you can open an activity in a new tab (middle mouse button or CTRL + left mouse). After checking details of an activity - close tab, this way the list stays where it was. Also, if you select category like Running, you can enter dates range by Advanced button, then back button returns to top of that range.
