Pace pro splits have a ceiling of 8:42 per kilometer. This is useless for hilly / mountainous races. Also the overall time is limited to 7 hours.

I want to add my voice to the plea. For hill running, the PacePro limit of 8:42/km is insufficient. On steep climbs, it is common to have a pace even around 13:00 - 15:00/km. This bug/limitation has been in PacePro for a very long time. Please fix it.
As of today there is no limitation.
Garmin says still there are some, which are quite liberal "There are certain pace and distance limitations when using PacePro. This includes a running range of 4-20 minutes per mile goal pace and max activity distance of 150 miles."
See https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?faq=svpm2I38YB2sU5CiqFXyfA
But I was playing with it today and I got 15:55 /km for a split, which is above 25 min/mile, so I guess there may be no split pace limitation at all.
The quoted limitation may be related to overall pace target.
Same issue for me, a 80km mountain trail (GRP 80 in France). I hope to do it in 18hrs but pace pro limitation is at 12'25" /km !!!! :-(
