7-days training load reset to zero after software update

My 7-days training load values have been reset to zero after the 8.0 software version updating. All previous data do not count for the nieither the green bar nor the load focus bars. 

The PhysioTrueUp is enabled in the Garmin Connect app. How could I refresh in order to have all values as the should be?

  • The green bar is 7-day training load. What does your last 7 days exercise load look like? Switch to the 4 week view and the Exercise load diagram is shown.

  • Physio TrueUp is only intreresting if you got several devices. What other devices do you have?

  • My 7-day green bar is shown in the capture from the first message. Suddenly it only shows the 109-load exercise I made after software updating. The load focus bar were 400-1400-700 the day before...

    I don't have any power meter so the 4-week view doesn't work.

    BTW I only have one device (Edge 830).

  • Don't you have an Exercise load graph? It is only shown if you switch to 4 week view. It is displayed right above the green 7-day training load. Those values are what creates the 7-day training load.

    This is mine. It dropped to almost zero because I was sick the previous week and only took short walks with very little training load. Now it is going up again because I can train as usual.

  • I'm resuming the process:
    - Had a 400-1400-700 load focus and a balanced green bar (as shown in the first message)
    - Updated Garmin Edge 830 to the 8.0 version and both the load focus and green bar fell to zero, as if I hadn't ever done any exercise.

    I know how the load focus and the green bar work, but my question is why the device have set all values to zero by just updating the software and above all how I can fix it.

  • I have got a vague memory from someone else reporting that this can happen if you add a new device. The new device will start from zero. Maybe that is what happened here. Do you see your activities on the device and do you see the exercise load graph?

  • I see both past activities and load graph. 

    Just for not confusing: I didn't add any new device. I'm working with the same one in all this process.

  • The values in the load graph for the past 7 days should give the value for the 7-day training load the values for the past 30 days should give the load focus. So it is very odd that you got values for the past 7 days but the 7-day training load is zero. Is it zero on the device as well?

  • It seems the device does not show any load information before updating, so that must be the key. It's only shown from Wednesday on (the day I updated the device) and also tells there's no available information for training status.
