Approach S6 - Garmin Connect App - Where are my stats?

I have my Garmin S6 from a handful of years ago and I love it. I used to get a ton of stats and insights on the Garmin Connect App. Now, when I go to Garmin Connect, it sends me to the Garmin Golf App, which for the s6, does nothing for me but show my scorecards. I no longer can look at the stats that I could with the Garmin Connect App. It honestly makes the watch nearly obsolete. Once again, the Garmin Golf App does nothing for a watch that doesn't have shot tracking.

This has been happening for a while now. Before I dealt with it because the web version of Garmin Connect still showed me a lot of the stats I wanted to see. But now they are removing stats from the web version too! I can't see average putts per hole, average scores on par 3/4/5s, etc. anymore.

Why is the Garmin Golf experience getting worse and worse by the year?

Is there anyway to override the Golf App and get the old Garmin Connect experience with my Approach S6? I want to see my overall stats, performance stats, and more in-depth course statistics like I used to!

?

  • Can someone respond to this please?

  • Which stats are you specifically looking for? The Golf app allows you to view performance stats (accuracy to the fairway or green and for drives, approach shots, chip shots and putting), course stats (average score for each course you’ve played, and get stats such as fairways hit, greens in regulation and putts per hole) and even club stats (My Bag). There isn't any way to override the Golf app.

All of these stats are still available in the web version as well. If you can point to where in the app and web you've checked for these, we can try to figure out where the discrepancies lie.

  • The stats I am looking for are the ones I mentioned in my post. The same stats that used to be on Garmin Connect App, but not the Garmin Golf app. The same stats that used to be on the Garmin Connect web version, but now have disappeared.

Once again, I don't have a shot-tracking watch so most of the performance stats wont work for me that you mentioned. But extremely basic and simple stats that I used to get when I first got my watch are not offered anymore, like my scoring average on par 3s par 4s and par 5s. bar graphs that show my greens in regulations and putts per hole for each round.

Here is a screenshot of my current Garmin Connect Golf Dashboard. This is all I get. I used to get so much more.
