Does anyone else have any criticism of the new MFA login? I must say, as a user, I just LOVE having to get an email or a text message EVERY TIME I go to the website. Like, please, for security purposes, don't EVER remember the computer I'm on. THAT technology is a bridge too far...
One thing I simply don't understand is why you're (Garmin) using SMS or email... With Microsoft Authenticator / Google Authenticator type solutions, why on EARTH are you home-rolling a solution like this?
My recommendations - because I really do want MFA on Garmin Connect - are:
- Allow a "remember computer" function
- Integrate as an option an authenticator program
If you could do this, it'd make it great, and more industry compliant...
