Corrupted FIT file

Question

Hi everyone, 
 
 I have a missing activity in my Garmin Connect app. I can see it on my watch, but not in the app. Tried to manually import the FIT file in the web app, and it says that the filetype is not recognized. Repaired using Fit File Repair Tool . - B61B2933-fixed.fit 
 
 Some suggestions to help minimize the occurrence of corrupt fit files: 
 
 After verifying that everything has synced, remove the files in the \GARMIN\ACTIVITY folder on the device&rsquo;s file system using these directions: Removing Recorded Activities on a Garmin Fitness Device If you're using a Mac computer, empty the trash folder before you unplug your device from the computer 
 Avoid excessive button presses such as pausing during your activity 
 Regularly check for firmware updates using Garmin Express 
 If issues with corrupt files persist, contact Garmin Support
