Could you describe the issue a bit more? What does you exporting FIT files as KML files go to do with your issue? What are the original entries?
Do you mean that you don't see your old activities in Garmin Connect? Activities are not removed unless you remove them. Are you sure you are using the correct account? It is a pretty common issue that users log in to a different account instead of the original one.
