Connections & Challenges

Hey all!

Just got my first Garmin (Fenix 6X Pro). Loving it so far!!

2 quick questions;

Connections:

Is there a group or thread for adding Connections?

Challenges:

Looking at the 5-6 challenges available to me, most seem a bit out of reach - record 500KM by June etc. Yep, pretty sure that’s not going to happen. Is there a way to find achievable challenges?

Cheers!

    The purpose of the connections function is that you should add your friends and team mates. Are you looking for adding random people that you don't know? A good way for that is to join one of the Facebook groups. I'm very active in one that focuses on badges and challenges: Garmin Badge Group

    Is there a way to find achievable challenges?

    There are new challenges every month that you find in the challenges page: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/challenge

    The stage 2 challenges are a bit tough if you start now. They are tough even if you start on the first available day. Stage 3 will start July 1st, but they will be the same as the stage 2.

    I'm running a site dedicated to the badges and challenges that might be interesting: https://garminbadges.com/
    There you will see all available challenges and badges. They are also available in Garmin Connect: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/badges
    The ordinary badges are a type of challenge that you can do without any time limit.

    I usually find out about the upcoming challenges for the next month pretty early and post them at my blog: https://garmin-badges.blogspot.com
    I've already posted all challenges and badges for the next month. There are a few that are achievable for almost everyone. Like the step challenges, yoga, walking, run 15 km, swim 1000 meters and maybe bike 40 km.
    There are also some tougher ones like the bike climb 20000 feet (6096 meters). We had that one in April and it was a very tough one. If you change the country setting to Phillipines and run 60 km you will get a badge for that.

    Some of the information I post are not official yet and can be changed by Garmin at any time. We will know closer to June 1st.
