"You did not cross any segments" for newly created segments.

Hi Guys,

I have seen a couple of older posts for this, but it wasn't helpful.

I have been playing with segments and have created and deleted some, however, I am now experiencing an issue, where I create a segment, search and get "You did not cross any segments".  I have also searched on an older run and that populates the segments.  So it appears to be the specific activity that I use to create them.

Any idea what this is, it appears to be a bug.

    I've fixed it by downloading, deleting, and reuploading the activity.

    The issue now segments are telling me some odd data.  For example, some runs are missing, some are 2 minutes longer (which I assume is a rest) and some tell me I ran the segment 6 times, when I in fact, only ran it 4 times.

    Are segments just half-baked for MTB?

    Now, I'm getting "page cannot be found" on 3 segments out of 6.  This is like an alpha build!

    Can someone tell me where I need to report this crap?  General support?

    Segments were better to 2019, then they clumsily changed it to cut server usage, some more info: Segments Leaderboard (should include past data as well). After some time, it looked that segments started working fairly ok, but I wasn't creating new segments lately, so if you have problems, then probably it's still something wrong.

    It could be done with optimal server usage and full functionality, but it would take some effort. So, ye, you can report that, but I wouldn't count on that they remake it any time soon.

     

    If you have not found pages - try to open Connect again with clear cache.
