One activity won’t upload from Edge 810 to Garmin Connect

Sunday 9th May 2021 6:35am AEST I completed an activity.  The upload to Garmin Connect on my mobile failed so I physically connected the unit to my PC and used Garmin Express to upload to Garmin Connect which was successful however the activity would not sync to Strava. After disconnecting and reconnecting Garmin Connect and Strava several time still no success. I deleted the activity from Garmin Connect and tried to re-upload from the Edge 810 however neither Bluetooth or cabled upload to Garmin Express will work. I have successfully completed a test activity and had no issues uploading. On top of this the rubber over the power button has deteriorated to the point where it’s becoming harder to power on so I need to get this last activity uploaded to Garmin Connect and Synched to Strava before I replace the 810 with a newer model.  Any tips would be gratefully received. 

  • Zip then attach the original fit file from your 810 to a reply post on this thread. We can take a look to see if it is repairable.

    • Zip the file, then in a reply post Insert >> Image/video/file >> click Upload >> browse for file >> OK.
    • Zip the file, then drag and drop it onto a reply post.
    • Upload the fit file to a file sharing service, such as OneDriveGoogle DriveDropbox, etc., then post a link to the file in your post.
