I've not been able to find a obvious place to send feature suggestions, so I'm posting this here in the hope that it will be read by someone at Garmin and taken onboard.
I have previously tried out a few other golf game tracking apps, one was ShotScope and a feature that I miss from their statistics, was the ability to mark a shot as positional. With that, you can mark a shot so it would not be included in distance statistics. Sometimes you are just pitching sideways or punching low out of trees, or hitting back onto the correct fairway and they are not full shots.
It would be great if there was an option to mark a shot as positional, even just when editing a round after finishing play, it doesn't have to be while out on course. That way a 4 iron low punch out of trees that only goes 130 meters, or a pitching wedge 15 meters sideways, doesn't get counted in the average distance calculation of those clubs.
Hope to have that implemented in a future update.
