HELP: unable to upload .fit file to Garmin Connect

Hello,

I accidentally discarded my activity and was able to recover it using Recuva.

However when i tried to upload the recovered *.fit file to Garmin Connect there was an error message "We don't support the file type you tried to import."

Can anyone help me with this? I've looked through similar posts in the forum but didn't find any solution

My devices are Forerunner 245 and Windows 10 PC. I'm using the latest firmware of Forerunner 245.

A lot of this type of data. Only 2 timestamps with today's date and one with erroneous GPS data.

Timestamps and GPS data is all over the place. What I could recover probably isn't usable, but I'm still working on it.

Errors generated by Fit File Repair Tool:

32230 bytes of the file are corrupted and could not be repaired.
The recording ended abruptly and without the expected summary records. Probably data records at the end of the recording are missing.
27 warnings have been generated during the import process. Please choose the option "display warnings" for further details.

I was trying to reply to your post but i guess there's bug with the rep fuction.

My watch was having trouble detecting GPS signal during the first 10 minutes so that might be the issue with erroneous GPS data.

What I could recover, with GPS data that made sense, was still from 2 different dates in 2020, so I made them both today.
