Garmin on my laptop

  1.  How can I download the Garmin app to my lap because I need it to solve the following problem using my laptop
  2. I can't get one of my recent runs to show up in the Garmin Connect app. It's visible as an activity on my watch, and SOME of its data (like steps and calories) are visible in the app, but not the run itself with map, laps, etc. I've run since then, and that subsequent run synced fine and was displayed in the app as expected. How can I get this single run to sync?

I'm using a Forerunner 35  and am using HP laptop and P40 light for the smart phone . My Garmin Connect app
  • I can't get one of my recent runs to show up in the Garmin Connect app.

On a Windows laptop it's no loner possible to have the Garmin Connect Mobile Windows app and I don't think it would have helped you in this case. However, you can use Garmin Connect Web and Garmin Express. It is likely that your activity is corrupt. (a common occurrence on the Forerunner 35). You can try a manual upload to Garmin Connect Web to see if it is corrupt.

How Do I Manually Upload an Activity I Recorded to Garmin Connect?

    • Connect your Garmin device to your computer with the Garmin USB cable
    • Open the drive associated with your device.

    • Look for your FIT file by date under the \GARMIN\ACTIVITY folder

    • Click Import Data

If you get any message other than Import Complete, then there is a problem with the file. In that case, please attach it to this thread. We can take a look to see if it is repairable.

3 ways to get the file to us:

    • Zip the file, then in a reply post Insert >> Image/video/file >> Upload >> browse for file >> OK.
    • Zip the file, then drag and drop it onto a reply post.
    • Post a link to the file using a file sharing service, such as OneDriveGoogle DriveDropbox, etc.
